Video Game Design | Video Game Production

Stephanie Tremigliozzi

Video Game Designer

Hello, I'm a graduate game designer who has a strong passion for creating fun and enjoyable games, especially creating systems that makes the player think and engage with the world in a fun and enjoyable way. I have worked on projects from varying genres such as: Real-Time Strategy, Couch Co-Op and Puzzle games, two of these games being specifically designed with multiplayer in mind.
I love to keep working at problems until I find a solution regardless of how difficult the problem may be, it is the most fun part of game design to me.
I am excited to keep working with other people just as passionate about games as I am!

Showcased Work

Mall or Nothing

Game Designer and Producer

This was my capstone project where I was the sole designer whilst also acting as producer on the project.
This game was even more challenging due to being networked multiplayer and in a custom engine in which I had to learn how to use it.

Most of the project revolved around trying to create and balance systems that worked together for a player vs player experience.

However, I am particularly happy about solving an issue where initiating a fight would always cause the player to lose. It required me to solve why the player was always losing in this scenario before I could even begin to try and fix it.

I Hate my Job and my Boss is a Lizard

Game Designer and Producer

This project took place at the end of the first year, It was my first experience working in a group with programmers and artists on a game. We aimed to make a small game and solidify our knowledge learnt throughout the year.

I had to quickly improve at being more clear and concise to allow for better communication with the team to create a fun and polished experience.

I am most proud of working alongside the other designer in the group to iterate on the level block out that they had created to help create a chaotic experience for the player, this was done by narrowing the map and creating choke points.

Slime Switch

Game Designer and Programmer

This project was created as part of a two day game jam hosted by AIE, with the theme being "Light".

I worked alongside one artist to create the game. We decided to make it a simple puzzle game where you turn on and off lights and find a way through the maze.

This project helped me to rapidly prototype and forced me to work quickly, in particular I encountered the issue of trying to rapidly prototype the puzzle/level for the game I found the best way to do this was to work backwards from the goal and work towards the start.
